I haven’t seen anyone post about this, so I’m going to post my impressions.
I started this up last night, and it’s pretty decent so far. Controls are the standard halo setup (At least on the Xbox). It’s a decent looking game, although not cutting edge, graphically.
Gameplay is a bit more arcade-like than most shooters, there are lots of incompetant enemies and ammo and health are in no short supply.
The voice acting in the game isn’t fantastic, it features David Duchovny and Powers Boothe, with Marilyn Manson prividng a voice as well. Powers, whom I really like, plays your typical drill-seargent voice guy. Duchovny, as the main character, pretty much fails to show any emotion, although that isn’t a big deal for me, as I’d rather see underplayed than over-the-top scenery chewing. Marilyn Manson works decently. The storyline is not bad, but you can tell it is just there to provide a reason for the action.
Overall, I’d say this is worth a rental or a bargain purchase.
