I’m thinking of writing a little script that polls the www.battlemetrics.com site for the Qt3 and if the “in game days” resets or drops, to send myself an email or some notification. Then I’ll just set it to run on my home desktop every time I login.

@Grembel I think that’s pretty damn close to being good. Chris mentioned that all the other files appear much smaller, this has to be the last good backup. I’ve wandered in and found structures, including a bridge someone built down in the rad zone. But I can’t find YOUR stuff as it’s deep and dark and I get lost down there easily.

I’m going to tell Chris we’re okay for now and we’ll re-engage if needed.

Please let me know the status once you check things. Note that anything after 9/28 appears to have gone bye-bye.

No way he has the 9/28 save file. Thats more then likely 8/28 at least. My main breeding base in the green zone is gone. Thats where I had logged last lol. Woke up with 0 gear and all my dinos gone at said location.

Just goes to show Ark really hates me.

@skipper Just scrolling through i had prepped for rock well 10 days back. So guessing his save is well before that.

I’ve got the script done.

It scrapes the battle metrics html for the Qt3 servers and pulls down the “in game days”. It saves the “in game days” to a local file. The next time the script runs it compares the last “in game days” to the current “in game days”. If the last value is greater than the current value, it pops up a message box telling me. From there, I go check the servers to see what is wrong.

It is nothing fancy and will break if battle metrics changes their html format to much, but for 30 minutes work, it will be fine.

EDIT: Having him load whatever he’s got from the “30th” as a date. Let’s see what that gets us. We know the one he just loaded worked, it’s just old. We also know Ragan has one from the beginning of last month, 9/6/20.

Just a heads up everyone Structures Plus updated and a few automated functions like the farmer and hatchery have been made obsolete–not sure how that’s going to affect your bases. Everything has been combined into a new single S+ Item Aggregator, but you need to pick it up and replace it and set your options before it starts working. Might want to log in to check on things if it’s been a while!

I manually updated the mod on Crystal Isles on Tuesday and figured the scheduled task would get the other servers Wednesday or Thursday morning.

I got mine set up and it seemed to be working well. Thankfully the range is one of the highest so I didn’t have to make a bunch of them to cover all the roles the others were doing. It is a bit of a bummer the max items is still 300, and with covering all the roles could be an issue as it deactivates when it hits its limit?, but I believe I have a good balance going now with it.

I like the aggregator also, but it needs a little work. It doesn’t gather the Plant Y fruit. I’m not sure if it is gather regular crops or not.

I also would like it to limit how many of an item it collects
