This is actually probably the best Dave could have asked for, he’s getting the Paladin, and we don’t have a great chance at Cetra at this point. The game is making it up to you DP.

Hell, the game may throw one final curve and give us 7 runes next round.

We anniebanannie’d the Paladin. See brain discussion above! No brain chart cuz I’m in bed.

We drew the Scryer, and I played out the draw / fake discard of D of O. So D of O is now the Scion of O.

I say we use Scion to whale on Sadistic Giant, what say you?

I’d kill the Sower. Sadistic Giant will be harder for Dave to reach and equally easy for DofO next pass. We sacrifice 1 honor on the exchange but might thwart Voidforge Paladin from an extra easy kill.

Other option is to use the runes first to take Delver (or Deathdealer) and see if we might prefer to use the banisher to kill what falls or hope for one of those 4-sword Monsters that lets us draw two more cards.

Or we could just totally fuck with Bananas and use the banisher to punt Cetra from the Center.

I say we burrow Cetra.

I’m so glad that this is a great game!

Gotta kill Cetra before Banannie can get him. Throws the game back towards breakeven.

Yeah agreed. Stopping Dave from getting Cetra is more important than a few extra points right now. Bury Cetra.

Punt Cetra, Annabanana has a good shot at it next round.

Killing the Burrower reveals Forgotten Scripture. Banishing Cetra reveals Alset!

With 4 runes to spend, do we:

  1. buy the Delver, to keep it from Dave?
  2. buy the Scripture, which we have a good chance to activate in 3+ rounds?
  3. buy Death Dealer, to unite with our existing Delver?

Banish Cetra. We’ve spent turns worrying about him getting it and maybe auto-winning the game, how could we do anything else at this point?

Too late, though I at least voted with the right side.

Sorry, Dannimal. I wrote that nonsense about the Giant last night; then woke up this morning to see everyone pointing out the obvious; then saw it was obvious myself, and did it. Will give it more time next time.

I can see good arguments for both Scripture and Death Dealer, I would lean slightly towards Scripture but I’ve been badly underrating Death Dealer past few months.

Plus Dave has Paladin and Stalker. Despite that, we have 2 Enlightened I think and going for the win is more important than trying to prevent a loss, so I’ll vote for Scripture.

Scripture. Dave is looking for something to get his Canon Templar going, plus we have an ok shot at activating it, and it may help us get our Nightmare Delver activated.

So much smart.

I would roll with the Scripture. We have a decent chance of activating it, and this deck is all about maximizing the amount of cards you can get out at once.

Bingo. Continue to neuter his Templar.

With 5 votes, Scripture taken, revealing another Disciple of Oziah. I ended the turn.
