Use the Scryer which will allow the Construct as the free discard. Let’s see what else we get in our hand.
I’ve done that, except for the free discard. Picture above.

Yeah, you did. You can discard the construct.
I say get the Mech Construct. Puts us in good position to take Alset next turn and have him have a chance to be activated when he comes around.
What are the remaining cards in our deck? I think the construct is worth taking if we can get Alset. If we can’t, I’m worried about Dave’s power/void accumulation, especially with his lead on us already. I might take the Deathdealer just so he can’t have it.
Our draw pile contains:
2 apps
1 militia
Scion of Oziah
Disciple of Cetra
Deathbound Druid
So, not much buying power coming.

I still say Mech Construct. At least force Banananananas to consider taking Alset as preventative instead of proactive.
Hopefully we get the two Lifebound together in the next draw. Gives us a banish and an energize on the Cetra hero.
I’m down with Mechana Construct.
Unless we get very unlucky next turn, we should be able to transform our Scion of Cetra. If we don’t transform Scion of Oziah on the next cycle, though, I think we’re in big trouble.
Yeah, I vote for laboratory too.
Lab taken, revealing Everbloom.
The APBA rumbles to life!
I’m so jazzed that this is a good game. I was verging recently on giving up on the league because omfg four years of this game, plus not too many seemed interesting to me at all, but this has helped revive me.
We took Alsat for reasons. More details soon!
We must get Eternal Dhartha. If we need to cheat, lie, steal, bribe, it matters not. Dhartha must be ours!
Dave’s log:
All of Dave’s buying cards are in his discard pile, except perhaps 1 Mystic. He has possibly 1 drawing card, Spike Vixen, but I don’t think he can muster 7 runes for the next two rounds.
Our situation:
Of course we managed not to draw D of C here, which means we can’t activate it and we’ll get it in our next hand. So we have only 2 runes to spend.
I would play the Druid & banish a militia; then buy Everbloom to reveal a card. I’m hoping for the draw two monster or a banishing monster.

Solid plan. The Everbloom is valuable enough to us not to punt. It kind of locks us in to Lifebound as our end-game strategy, but I think that should be strong enough to get us to the finish line ahead of DavanaBanannies. I also support killing Militia with the Druid.
Agreed. Buy the Everbloom. I wouldn’t kill the draw 2 monster right now, but I would kill the banish 2 monster if it came out. Otherwise, the Giant is a great option. We need to tighten the honor gap and we’ll only be down by 1 once we kill the giant and play Deathbound Druid.
Agree with HM’s thoughts!
Lol at Micro’s comments. I agree with him if we get the opportunity though… to me, Dhartha is one of the most broken cards in the game, especially near the end if you’ve got other enlightened heroes going. I really think its multi-unite ability is OP, and very few leads are safe at the end game if you can get a Dhartha chain going. Throw in Adayu on the same turn, and you might as well say GG. I actually think that DU Dhartha is more powerful than the Dreamer’s glass.
Dhartha isn’t broken. It’s only really even that good if you can unite it with other enlightened heroes. Otherwise it’s just a single random card that goes to your discard pile. Adayu is way way better, and Cetra is better too because you can choose what you want and put it on the top of your deck to possibly draw on the same turn and set up combos.
