Need help with the JF / Emos shenanigans just above.

And I did squeak by ankamela in our best of 19 and win 10-8! Super great series. And I made a new friend. Doesn’t anyone else want to be my friend, and play a best of 19 for the right to wave the unicorn of awesomeness banner?

And the playoffs:

Looks like Jay would have to go 3-0 in his remaining games to take prolix’s place vs. ironcub in the playoffs. Jay, can you update your progress?

Hmmm. Emos, let’s compare notes. I’ve got screenshots of:

a 93-75 victory by Emos
a 67-63 victory by me
an 89-53 victory by me (game that finished this morning)

All were taken since the July league started, but I don’t know exactly when (other than the last one).

Did I forget one? Were the last two funzies? I really, really hope Ascension Online will allow you to title games.

I am indeed, as Dave says, a “sissy” [1]. But remember, Dave plays best of 19 against everyone, so his definition of “sissy” may be overly elastic.

Wow. I just went 0-for-the-playoffs. Those losses to prolix and ironcub really left me shaking my head since I really thought I had them won. My kajillion point loss to fuzzyslug was no surprise, however since I could see which way the wind was blowing from early on :)

Well, you would’ve won the game against me 99 times out of 100. Sometimes the cards are just jerks.

Btw, does nobody do vanilla IH games? Everyone is challenging me to SoS/IH combos, which kind of sucks as it makes it really hard to make any of the IH-specific combos. It’s the same reason why I hate playing SoS/RotF. Stop doing this, people, or you’ll force me to get out of my hammock and issue challenges myself!

I am always down for IH-only games! But then I liked RotF-only games also, which made me a pariah.

I noticed all the bug fixes they were referring to were referenced in the ascensiongame.com iOS sub-forum, so if you guys see more bugs, make sure to put them in there and they will take note of it.

bigdruid, most folks who poste said they have a preference of SoS/IH over solo IH, which is why you’re seeing the combo so often. I’m cool either way, so feel free to send me IH-only games.

Is that your GC or Playdek name? Dave, has the alias list on the first page been fully updated for Playdek (I see Mr_Sweetie on there, so I’m assuming so)?

I think the answer is, ‘both’. I used the same name for playdek as I used for GC, for the sake of simplicity. I am receiving game requests from others…

Note that Dave’s list has ‘scottgibson’ but the right name is ‘scottagibson’. With the ‘a’. Which means whatever you want it to mean ;^)

It’s possible that one of the matches might have been one from the end of June, as I don’t have a date on my screenshots. I’ll concede the match to you but I’ll always be more then happy to play for funzies whenever.

As a newb, I have to ask: Has anyone told Playdek that they need a chat / message feature in the game, so people can communicate with each other as they play? I’m really missing that!

Could we get some sort of update to the name / ID list? I know Lord_Twilight just accepted my Gamecenter friend request, but I have no idea what his Playdeck ID is.

Mine is pretty straightforward: Gamecenter ID is GusSmed, Playdeck ID is Gus_Smedstad.
