First off it was a Nothing Man, and second off it was right to do it. I’d rather have the Socket Altar sitting out there than the Lionheart, but it didn’t work out that way.

The sequence was:
SCE Eternal Askara. Revealed Nothing Man.
Banish World Tree. Revealed Lionheart.
Banish Socket Altar. Revealed Black Hole.
Eternal Banish Nothing Man. Revealed Spider Witch.
Buy Spider Witch. Reveal Minotaur.
Eternal Banish Minotaur.
EDIT: Socket Altar gains him 6 points, and sits inert in his discard pile. He’ll never draw it.
Lionheart is 3 points if he doesn’t use Honey Siren. He won’t draw that either.
Lionheart is 6 points if uses Honey Siren so he’ll play it. That it doesn’t take a space is par with the Socket Altar in the discard.
Socket Altar is 1 point more expensive, or 1 point cheaper if he draws Autobuilder 5.0.
It’s very, very close to a wash if he has Honey Siren, but Lionheart is weaker if he doesn’t.

I wish ascension had a five minute clock option. I’d prefer to play speedy ascension that way.

The Cobra Kilamanjaro simply took the Black Hole, Guardian, and a Hectic Scribe. No Honey Sirens came up. His genie is used up, and he played Belthar during the turn. I think he has one more draw-a-card in his deck to pair with the Honey Sirens. His Wolf Acolyte is discarded but the Spider Witch is still to come.
Our turn! I would take Lionheart.
