Actually, this time I agree. The Sensei is not an important card to banish, and what replaces it could easily be better. Even a lowly Synchronizer. Don’t banish anything unless it’s a serious thread or doing so earns us points. The Sensei is not a threat.

Weird, I disagree with Gus. Three white for two stars is a well above average card. It could mean the difference between him beating us by 12 or 14. :-)

“Well above average” for 0.67 return is stretching it. While 0.5 is typical, and always available via Heavy Infantry, any Mechana is 1.0, as is any 1 point card, and 0.67 is fairly common. 0.75 or above is about as low as I’d go for “well above average.”

If you banish that 2 honor card and reveal a 6 honor card that he wouldn’t have been able to afford if he had bought the first card, that’s worse. There are a lot of things that could go wrong by being too worried about a ratio.

It’s not so much the ratio. It’s that it’s 2 for three. There are not that many cards better than that. A 1 for 1 would be equal as he’d take it plus a HI. Only the mechanas give more and he already has one of them.

The average card that is revealed will be better for us than the Sensei. It will cost more or be worth less in some manner. It’s about bang for his buck.

Nope. Point was if he has three to spend most cards are worse for him than Sensei. Ones are a wash unless three in a row come out. The (depleted) mechanas are better. Anything that costs more is worse if he can’t afford it.
