While the prodigal thing may be partly true, you slapped me around at exactly the right moments and your board control helped you get what you needed and keep me from getting what I wanted. Destroyed my Edge twice. At one point, I put a Spider Witch on top of my deck knowing I would have a Granger in my next hand. You killed the monster that makes me discard something at random, and of course it was the damn Spider Witch, making me lose both the synergy and probably the better of the two green cards. I was poised to synergize the Spider Witch with the Snake Shaman on what would have been my next turn (which would have been pretty swell for honor), but then you somehow loaded up an absurd amount of power and drained the last 8 honor from the pool, ending the game before I could take that turn.

Iron probably did all of those things to me, too, but I wasn’t paying attention to his sad little mewlings, because my deck was slithering along my thigh and breathing into my ear. Next thing I knew, covered in poo!

Well, actually the one with Jay kind of sucked. The whole board was red most of the game and there wasn’t much we could do. Just the two of us buying up HI and my hands just came out a little better.

Well said, soon. Monster clogged games are the least fun in ascension. On a better note…

Well, maybe I’m getting better. I could pull through.

EDIT: I employed a rather weird tactic in that game repeatedly: Throwing Axes.

This involves activating an Axe, destroying it with a Scrap Thrower, and then bringing it back with a Brazer Drone to activate it again. A total of 8 power which requires an unlikely hand, but a hand which I had repeatedly.

Whoa, a tactic with a name!

I just invented the tactic Being an Asshat, which involves playing mctwitch, having such a great deck and an amazing last turn, leaving the game on his last turn to message him that I was sorry my lucky last turn ruined what was a great game thus far, and returning to see him win by a point. Tee hee!
