One of the more exiting matches i’ve played so far. I actually thought my deck was unbeatable early on, with Avatar, Dreamer’s Glass and Eye of Destiny.
Your triple Growmites, some lifebound combo’s and mechana things made it exiting till the end.

That sounds similar to my game with soonanother, except it didn’t quite work out for me. I had an early Shadowcaster and Nihlmancer, and used them to trim my Lifebound-heavy deck into an unstoppable machine in about 6 turns. I went to bed with nearly a 30 point lead and about 30 left in the honor pool. When I woke up in the morning, I saw that the game was OVER and I lost! Moment of Clarity + Aiyanna combined with a steady flow of Enlightened + Lifebound cards = BAD NEWS.

So yeah, Delirium, Gus, those were wild games! Everything lined up perfectly for me in those lucky, monster turns. I don’t think that has happened to me before, where I drained my draw and discard of 20+ cards. Vs Delirium, that one crazy turn still wouldn’t have been enough, if Moment of Clarity hadn’t gifted me the two Wandering Askara for a bonus round. And even then, both of you had such a huge lead that I wasn’t sure of the outcome. Good games!

I actually had to sit through that long depressing sequence about 3 times because your turn took so long that my phone kept putting itself to sleep in the middle of it.

Same to you! That was a crazy one, as we both fully tuned our decks early and were racking up big turns and stacks of mechana from the mid-game onward. I thought you had it after that monster last turn, but I flipped Weapon 303 partway through my turn and had both Autobuilder and Brazer Drone in hand to just barely snag it.

Yep, i recognize that, but we have all been there sometime :)

In other news:
August playoffs:
Magius > Justin Fletcher 78-66 (despite me being blind and choosing a random 7 point mechana over the Orb when playing Prime)
Magius > Pacman 100-67 (was able to ban my 2 militia pretty fast, got Orb, and things were snowballing my way then. You were very unlucky in your draws too)
Magius > Delirium 73-67 (close one, you managed to build up a point lead pretty fast, i just made the turnaround and me ending the game before you could use the 3 trophies helped too)

delirium over prolix - he had a decent lead on me for most of the game, but got my hands on a World Tree just in time. I spent like 10 minutes working out that turn in my head to pull crazy shenanigans with Mechana Constructs, Brazer Drones and Tarik to secure the World Tree and put it in play immediately, and I just barely snuck away with a win. Good game.
