Man I am taking some rough losses so far.
Only one win to report:
prolix over Gus by one measly point
Will update soon! Just busy. All morning, I was making giant mirrors!

It was a gorgeous 55 degree morning with no humidity or clouds, but standing in between two mirrors taught me how powerful reflection is, and how solar panels might work.

Dave, I’ve got a 10.5 kWh solar array on my roof. I have to go up there every few months to clean them. Talk about hot!
Whoa, do you do it in the evening, at least?
No, I usually try to do it in the early morning. It takes about 2 hours as there are 43 panels to clean…

Are you trying to improve on that other famous mathematician, Archimedes?
August playoffs
pacman over annie peeps 74-68
A close one where I just managed enough deck points to beat out Annie’s super slim deck. I think that concludes all my playoff games.

Whew! Got really nervous after you nabbed the big bad in the second last turn! Luckily the more valuable constructs fell into my lap as they became available.
I’m done with all my playoff games as well.

Sorry Gus, Belthar wasn’t good to me earlier either–
turns out I made mistake by choosing Belthar over Lionheart in delirium game
turns out I made mistake by choosing Raj over Shadowcaster in soon game
turns out I made mistake by choosing Temple Guardian over Stone Circle Elder in pacman game <-- less sure about that one
All GGs tho!
Wonder if that might help someone?
Yeah. I’m not sure that was the wrong choice either. It seemed like you got better value out of the Temple Guardian than I did the Stone Circle Elder. Of course, I don’t think I can tell you what choice did decide that game, might have been one of those tight games where things just don’t work out through no particular bad decision.
Interesting quirk (bug) I just ran across in terms of timing of events when they’re drawn off the deck (these were in the same game)…
I played a Temple Guardian, defeated a monster, and the next card off the deck was Moment of Clarity (replacing The Great Eclipse). The game then drew a card for me, per Temple Guardian’s secondary effect. I didn’t think this would happen, because when I played the card, the event wasn’t enlightened. Then, later in the same turn, I acquired a Deathsworn Warrior. The next card off the deck was Annihilation, a Void event that lets you banish a card when you acquire a Void card. Only, the game didn’t give me the option to banish a card.
I would have thought that both sequences would either activate their event, or neither of them would. I suppose the difference in timing is playing a card/defeating a monster vs. acquiring a card, maybe a card is still considered being played until the next card replaces it in the center row, but a card is done being acquired before the next card replaces it in the center row? Or, maybe it’s a bug. Seems like it’d be a rare sequence of events.
I’ve already accomplished that. These mirrors are for the horse arena.
Horse arena? You’re very confident about keeping that unicorn…
heh!

update! I feel like I missed a result or two in the blizzard of results. Correct me if I’m missing something.
