I had some good luck drawing my power cards all in the same hands early, and that let me build up a big points lead that I rode out to the win.
This makes our second game in a row that hasn’t been close (one win each at least), something must be awry :-p

I actually bought that Elemental Adept in response to your power cards hoping i could ban the 2nd Growmites but you were very fast.
Then after that, i at least hoped to ban monsters with it to go all runes but then that event turned up that monsters could not be banned.
Then i decided to go half in the military as well, which was the stupidest decision i could make i think.
The turn that really hurt was when I had a banishing choice, and chose to leave both PRIME and Weapon 303 up because I knew I had Raj coming the next turn, and was planing to Raj my way to PRIME and then pick up the weapon. But of course you bought PRIME on your turn. And then I miscounted my hand and banished the weapon even though I had the runes to buy it. Not my greatest games, or maybe just very nicely played on your part ;-).

Gus defeated ScottAGibson for September. I had both Axes, but only had them both in play for one turn before game end.

Done! Gus defeated ScottAGibson. I’m sure it can’t have been fun to be on the receiving end of Orb of Nyx and Avatar of Aiyanna. I had one of those last turns where I kept drawing cards due to the Orb.

I can’t guess your mistakes. I usually don’t pay much attention to how my opponent is doing. What did you do?
Acidic Crawler popped up in the center, and you had 3 constructs and I just went from 2 to 4, including a fully packed Glass and two Cog Maws, all the while looking right at the Acidic Crawler. What’s wrong with this picture? :)
