I think I’m not buying any more physical cards. I bought the first three sets, and tried it out with my wife and mother-in-law, my only usual real-game opponents. My wife would rather play Dominion (boo!) and my mother-in-law seems adverse to learning anything new now - last time we played, it was all Acquire and Ticket to Ride.

I recognize this fully, got the sets + promo’s up to RoV, but the few players that live here rather play the IoS game “to avoid the hassle”.
Any of you guys are going to Essen this year? We might actually play a few physical games :)

Gus defeated NotOpkOpk with a World Tree and a ton of green. My last hand was in fact 5 green cards, including that bastard Sabre.

Unless of course OpkOpk is another unannounced [3], but I see him as [1] on the chart.

GG man, I think that if you weren’t unlucky to have only 3 runes in that early round with Canopic Jar there, I’d have been a goner for sure. I think I was already in defense mode with all those mushrooms already! I did get to hoard all the banishers…

Tyjenks, I have no idea how I won our first game this month. I was sure you were miles ahead of me on points, but I pulled ahead by one, and my last turn was completely mediocre. Yeah, I got the Godling, but that was late in the game, he gave me 3 really bad cards (Mechana Initiate level), and he was my only really notable card.

If only you hadn’t banished the Orb so quickly. Then you’d have been sorry. I knew I acquired Emri too late to make much of a difference, but the Orb I got early enough to use.
