No final results yet, but that last game was too exciting not to talk about. soonanother over Magius by about 5 points after a match of intense monster slaying. I had to look away in the last turn where he nabbed Kyris, got Dhartha’ed, nabbed Cog Maw and still had like 5 cards left to play. My Growmite collection saved me though. Good game!

The last match was a bit of an anti-climax. Basically a race for the Eye of Destiny (which i lost), which then snowballed in all kinds of nasty stuff.

I dunno, it was pretty tense on my end. Your Dream Machine->Driller engine was pretty worrisome, and you had snapped up some other mechana as well. It wasn’t until my last giant turn was underway that I felt a little more comfortable, and I was lucky that your dream machine didn’t pop out earlier on, that probably would have made a big difference. Good game!

I did had some hopes, but you had a key ghoul that discarded my keycard and then you had a remarkable hit with that great omen raven. That really was a monster turn, (literally too)!

Ha, that it was. I think I defeated a Minotaur, Nemesis and a Polaris Demon that turn. Also cycled through about 18-19 cards (not counting soul gems.)

The great omen raven was all thanks to my beast staff though. If I had to guess I would have hit one and missed one.

What card did I discard with the ghoul?

I’ve won vs fuzzy in the race to 100 and we’re rematching! Although it doesn’t seem that this idea is catching on, exactly, I’m still going to keep a record of this (just the wins, not the losses) so I can be king of something. Until someone takes it away!

My issue with the format is the one I brought up in the Small World thread: it minimizes the importance of winning any particular game.
