I’ve sent you an invite. I don’t like the format, but I’m going into Ascension withdrawal. As I see it, it’s one extended game with resets, since individual wins don’t matter, just your ongoing total.

Also, if anyone wants to just play best-of-# series instead, you are most welcome to. I’m in two of them myself, and one is a best of 99. I am not suffering from withdrawal. As long as it’s a best of 19 or more, I’ll award tiny red unicorns (and I’ll rename the side contest).

Of course you like me, since you’ve been destroying me utterly in these games. When you win it’s -23 or -32 or something, and the one time I manage a victory it’s a piddling +3. Adayu takes Sammael, bah!
On an unrelated note, NixxterR doesn’t seem to be playing much for a [3]. We’ve barely begun game 2, which I wouldn’t mention except that the chart shows only one reported result for him so far.

Gus, I haven’t had such a stream of early round luck in awhile! I seemed to be getting the Glass or Sabre in early rounds in almost all these games, damn.

Yeah, I’ve been playing against Nixxter for at least a week and we’re only on round 11 of game 1. I was going to PM him and see if we can schedule a time to knock out the games live.

Yeah. It was a steady grind of defeat for me. I won one of seven games. It felt like he was gaining 20-25 points each game, but obviously since it took him 7 to reach 106, the average was rather less than that.

I’ll do either one, though I prefer best-of to the to-100 format. I like to think the best-of series reduces the impact of a particularly lucky game. Not that it would have helped this last time, since I went 1-6. [much fist shaking ensues]
