Initial impressions:

Journeyman Sage - weaker version of Raj. Doesn’t seem unbalanced at all, not typical of promo cards.

Askara of Fortune - weaker version of Twofold Askara, but highly random, and can copy cards from your opponent.

Hedron Flare - sucks. Mechana heroes are very rare, and generally cheap. But, like many mechana constructs, you’re probably buying this for the points or fact it’s a mechana card that boosts cards that trigger on any mechana.

Ender of Days - immediate game end! Only really unbalanced because of cards like Adayu and Aaron that don’t care about the 10 Power cost.

Nethersnare - cheap and unfairly powerful. You can reserve all the good 6+ monsters for yourself, and any monsters that might destroy it as well. EDIT: missed the fact it only holds one monster. OK, not so bad. You can snag Akam or the Rebel Godling, but it’s easy enough to destroy and release the captive.

Cetra, Guide of Ogo - Absolutely insane. 5 x Cetra, Weaver of Stars, for 1 more Rune.

I’m not really a fan of the Promo Packs tbh. Although it seems Pathwarden is still the most broken card of them all, this set still has a few nasty ones, especially Ender of Days and Nethersnare.
Agree with your analysis Gus, except for Cetra. Of course, he can be nuts but often he is just (very) good and sometimes even sucks. IF you get him unfairly early, it is game over of course.

These days, I just avoid Cetra entirely and consider her a trap for my opponents when she’s on the board. I’m clearly not alone: I’ve had a handful of public matches where she’s sat unloved on the board despite several opportunities for both of us to take her.

That being said, the 5x does probably tip the scales back into over-powered desirability.

I will occasionally deliberately abuse the Queen’s English, for amusement purposes only, but only lengthenizing words in a perfectly cromulent way. I will not stoop to text speak, as there are so many who do so without any sarcastic intent.

I just had a chance to look through the six or seven Promo Pack 2 cards.

Ender of Days, wow. I had seen it before on the official Facebook page, but to play with it now, just wow. Aaron just got a massive boost in my book.

delirium over mctwitch - I was feeling pretty good about this game for a while but then damn, you really turned up the heat out of nowhere. I ended up down by 20+ points on my last turn, but fortunately the cards came together for me when I needed them to and I was able to ride my mechana constructs to a narrow victory.

Two good close games. I was worried in game two when you got all that banishing done fast, but I managed to hang in there with Mechana somehow and pull points out of I’m not entirely sure where :-p
