I hope wilykat just noticed how I derped through my last hand. I meant to use my HI and a Hoarding Whelp to kill a fanatic to gain a rune, thus affording the Repurposer. Instead, I played the HI, killed a cultist, and then, without noticing what I’d just done, spent my Hoarding Whelp on nothing.
I can’t even reverse engineer what my brain was doing while my finger did stuff.
If you call jumping up and down and cursing jack shizzle, sure!
On the other hand, I forgot to use the Treasures twice despite planning around it, so I was praying that I don’t lose by 5. Thanks, Ascension!

doh! I kind of noticed. I saw the Hoarding Whelp go by and it looked like it was the last thing in the turn, but I didn’t spend that much time thinking about it other than “that was odd”.
I don’t have my iPad handy but it sounds like I beat Dave. Woo! I also beat Sinnick. I got crushed by other people. I’ll put up numbers tomorrow.
You took that Repurposer and beat me over the head with it for the rest of the game. Betrayed by my own brain and/or fingers! I honestly have no idea which to blame. At the time, your deck was a bit better anyhow, in my opinion, so it might not have mattered. But it was no fun being whacked with the cane that could have been mine had I not wigged out.

Just a funny story: I started a game vs a random opponent so I could test my theory that Ascension doesn’t require skill. In this game, I always bought, banished, or defeated the card furthest to the left.
The result speaks for itself. Note the complete lack of theme in my deck. In addition, I never bought a mystic or heavy infantry.
