Gus defeated Pastose 87-68 in the playoffs. I credit Cog Maw, normally a pretty iffy card, combined with Driller Mk IV and Brazer Drone. Maw destroys Driller, Brazer brings it back, for 2 Runes and a Soul Gem. Which I did a bunch of times, and which got me cards like the Orb of Nyx and psychotic Emri despite my general lack of Mystics.

I’m pretty sure that was our running game. I don’t get to start the playoff game. It’s your choice since I’m on the bottom this month. :)

Let’s make January happen, people!

I did the usual sort-by-wins and then alternate people into groups, but the two groups were weirdly almost identical to last month’s groups, so I cranked up random.org and used it to swap five pairs, just to give us fresher faces to play.

If I left anyone out but you wish I hadn’t, all you need to is holler!

Tidbit: Annie was the only person to bestow honor on Baby Miles last month (for the bonus half point)! Many thanks to the nine players who submitted gifts. You will be spared when Baby Miles ascends.
