I really thought I had lost and was not checking back I like I should. Apologies for any delays I may have caused. “Things” have gotten in the way. Still playing turns though, which I assume are for January?

Coincidentally, sinnick kicked my ass last night but we have game 2 going.

Pacman and I plowed through the games during our lunchtime, in a battle of the 14’s.
The first game, that was one of the most intense games I’ve played in. We had early banishers and we eyed the Aaron and the Serpentcall in the early rounds, but Pacman swooped up Aaron and then banished Serpentcall in the same turn. Then, he took Adayu a couple rounds later, the ass!
I had really lucky consolation prizes though, two Combustion Idols, a Project Alpha and what ended up as 9 Mechies in the end. The Project Alpha brought in two 6-rune mechies for my last two turns, and I was lucky to draw an extra turn for the final rd with the Askaras for the win.
The second game was a completely opposite borefest, because I used a trick that Magius used to clobber me for Xmas: get the World Tree and abuse it till we stripped it bare. That was the only way I could think of beating pacman :) Great games man and always fun playing live with you.

Old timers may remember that delirium asked for a best of 50 a while back, and I took him up on it. We are at 24-24! At one point, I won 8 or 9 in a row, but he has had a pair of sweet 8-2 and 9-2 type runs. It’s down to a best of three now.
When it ends, I’m going to award the unicorn but change how they work. From now on, there will be a single unicorn representing each kind of series, and only one person can hold it at a time.
More soon! Gotta go buy the Henge Queen in round 4 vs delirium…
