Hate to nitpick Dave, but I noticed that you counted my victories over justin fletcher and fuzzyslug as losses. I don’t recall playing them more than once or losing to them.

February’s league is going to be quite different, and it may require you to play a few more games than you’re used to. Consequently, I’m going to sign people up for it once everyone sees how it will run, rather than just assume that everyone’s in by default. Keep your eyes peeled and your bananas open!

Think of February like several Circle tournaments being played at once, with losers being dumped into the Pit, where everyone plays each other once.

Let’s try it! At least it will give me something new to think about, am I right?

I’m going to think of this structure as we play a warmup Circle group tourney, where the vast majority of us will fall into the Pit league, which will serve as the main action for the month :)

Yup! But the losing finalist will have played a best of three, so might take an extra point into the pit from that experience.

Sounds good to me. I’m thinking this may take more than just Feb to get through. Circles are not the fastest of formats.

p.s. Groups will be randomized. They might not be size six, depending on how much interest there is. There is not a player limit, so don’t feel like you have to rush in.

I agree, delirium. That’s why I might keep the groups smallish.
