I’m not liking this month’s format.

I appreciate the creativity, but it’s a new month and I’m only playing 2 games of Ascension. With the likely prospect of hiatus when those two finish, while the rest of the minicircle finishes its games. This is not enough.

Gus, I know what you mean. The thing is, I don’t feel like playing a ton of Ascension any more. I want to be in a handful of meaningful games, not a slew of them. After this month, I’m happy to let someone else take over (and I’m happy to keep being in charge, too), especially if they want to crank the league back up to 11. I like Ascension still, but I’m basically doing the same thing over and over for months with nothing new happening in my brain. So I was hoping that fewer games that each mattered a lot would help jazz me.

And yeah, the unicorn series was supposed to help get people extra games, and almost everyone bypassed it. So I focused that, too.

Also, once you’re tossed into the Pit (if it happens), then you’ll have lots of games. Maybe too many!
