I went with Gus’s idea of having each round survived by worth a point in the Pit. There’s already a reward for winning both of your games (in the form of the Armageddon Rule, which states that if no one loses both games in a round, everyone with the worst cumulative wins is dumped).
Round 3 has begun for the third group! I should have given the groups fun names. :(

I think you just did luck out in round 1 with Emri allowing you to banish 2, Ogo as the event, and a ton of Lifebound cards on the table! I really wish I were going first…

Good game, I was a little annoyed when I messed up one of my turns and used Yggdrasil Staff rather than playing a Jackal, leaving a Flytrap Witch for you that I wanted to buy, but it worked out all right in the end :)

This was a squeaker! I trailed most of the game but lucked into killing Avatar of the Fallen and another 6-pointer on the next-to-last turn & eked out a 1 point win. Sorry, D!

I’m thinking about something fun that could include the people who have won their groups, like iron just did. There are still quite a few days left to the month. Maybe something like this: anyone in the Pit who wants to challenge a group winner may do so once, and each win versus such a player earns that person an extra point? But there is no reward to the group winner aside from the chance to play more games.
