Gus defeated ScottaGibson in the Pit after following him in. This time, at least, it was a decisive victory instead of one of these barely-scraping-by ties I’ve been doing. 2 x Stone Circle Elder for the win!

Emos over TimothyS

Decisive isn’t a strong enough word. Gus beat me by the time-honored method of collecting every Lifebound hero in the deck, uniting them, and clubbing me to death with the results. Made me cry.

scottagibson > delirium in the pit. I used a passel of constructs.

So what now? I think I am still confused about the finals.

Just wait until March 31 and I’ll explain. Until then, play Lost Cities or Neuroshima Hex or Hearthstone with us! :)

bigdruid, I’m trying to play you while making dinner, so I can’t stay in the game and play in real time. I look like I’m online because I step out into the lobby until I can play a move. Just didn’t want you (or anyone) to think that I’m choosing to let someone who wants to play in real time just wait around like a doof while I circulate among my other games.

Pit:

TimothyS over Justin Fletcher
TimothyS over Brakara

AT > fuzzy thanks to pluck and verve, which is what I say when all I can remember is that I was scared at the beginning for a vague reason.

Pit:
Mr_Sweetie over delirium

I could actually get some work done, too.

Thanks Dave!

Ironcub appears to be doing recon by challenging me to games and keeping me busy. I am totally going to play COMPLETELY differently as opposed to When It Counts. ;)

TimothyS over Annie Peeps.

Pit:
Mr_Sweetie over sinnick by the way of the Ender of Worlds

AT > delirium. Sabre gone wild.

Same thing is happening this morning, only it’s taxes instead of dinner. I’d much rather make dinner.

-> Sorry Gus in particular!

pit:
Mr_Sweetie over scottagibson

Son of a biscuit, Gus, I wish I could watch that game again so I can figure out how you were able to keep that game at 91-86 when I had 71 deck points, 7+ constructs, was Dream Machining my Combustion Idol every turn, got PRIME with my Hedron Flare, ETC ETC ETC

That’s the kind of game where mortals roll over and DIE and instead you gave me a heart attack. I was mentally penning my letter of abject humiliation slash devout worship as the game ended.

I WANT TO WATCH REPLAYS

And sorry again for the slow real time play. I am doing taxes and our game was the only thing keeping me interested in continuing to respirate and function.

I did my taxes a month ago. Usually it’s the brokerage 1099 that’s the last item I need.

Gus defeated Mr. Sweetie after taking an unreasonable beating from Dave. You had something like 6-7 constructs out and the Avatar of Aiyana getting heroes on the cheap for you.

EDIT: Eh, I didn’t pay attention to the final score. It was more “damn, look at all those cards, of course I lost.” As far as it being close, remember that I had an Honor lead, at least in part because I had two Everblooms counting down the clock every turn. 2 Everblooms vs. Combustion Idol + Dream Machine + lots more.

I forgot about her. Good lord I had all the toys.

Dear Diary,

Today, I did my secret reconnaisance work on Tyjenks. My mother told me it is important to do your homework, you know!

The game we are playing today, he picked up a Lifebound Initiate, and then followed up with a Mechana Initiate two rounds later. Boy, is he bad at this game! Who did he have to beat to get to the finals, Dave Perkins?!

Recon work is hopeful thinking, btw! I thought those done with the games for this month might have more space for friendlies!
