The Council has met again today, this time on the toilet, to consider opening the playoffs further so that each team has six players rather than four. Aided by oatmeal and coffee, the deliberations went smoothly and quickly, as did the decision-making.
The first motion: that four new people will be added to the playoff fight, those with 11 points (ankamela, Mark Gray, Emos) and 10 points (sinnick), bringing the total to 12 people, allowing two teams of six. This motion passed 1-0.
The second motion: that ankamela, as most recent Circle champion, should be added to the Circle team. This motion passed 1-0.
The third motion: that sinnick, as one of the most venerable dignitaries in the league, should be added to the Circle team. This would place Mark and Emos on the Pit team. This motion passed 1-0.
The Council then washed its hands and proceeded to the computer to pass along the minutes of the meeting.
THEREFORE LET IT BE SAID that the COUNCIL deemed, in the interest of the Vitality and Aggrandizement of the LEAGUE, that the Playoffs should expand to allow Six members per Team, WHERETOFORE the Playoffs shall continue in the Manner already aforementioned, to wit: each Team member will play ONE GAME versus each of the team members of the OPPOSITE TEAM, with winners reporting point differentials. Once all matches are played, the Team with the better record (ties broken by point differential) will then enter a new round of Playoffs akin to those in recent months. And these Teams shall be:
The Circle Team:
Tyjenks, soondifferent, Gus Smedstad, Dave Perkins, ankamela, and sinnick
The Pit Team:
ddtibbs, tecwrtr, ironcub, Pastose, Mark Gray, and Emos
