As happy as I am to see him gone, I kinda hope it’s not for the piracy thread – I figure anyone who gets more than 10 pages into a piracy thread here implicitly accepts a certain level of crazy.

Could be a lifetime achievement award or the result of some extracurricular activity in PMs, of course.

The old OG and PlanetGanja (R.I.P.) forums did exactly that. You got a somewhat moderated P&R forum and an entirely uncensored subforum called the sharktank where the Banned were put only able to interact with each other and circa 5 unbanned guys who laughed at the poor.

You know, such a punishment is somewhat more draconic than banning a person alltogether.

Just think about it for a minute considering the typical “audience” of internet forums and the “importance” most are attributing to their actions in the net (or wow for that matter).
