Yeah, I don’t understand what that post did that was so bad, if that was what he was banned for. But I don’t know what other “drama” it referred to.

Honestly, after reading that post I’m still not sure whether he got banned for it or the Internet Dating thread drama he was referencing. Neither was really banworthy in my opinion, though. But maybe it was sort of like pulling P&R into other forums, you don’t talk about EE thread drama in the games forum.

I can imagine that Tom is in a rather foul mood given the fact that flames from Qt3 have become the major story on multiple game websites and really hitting Stardock hard (to the delight of some).

One of the initial purposes of this forum has taken a major hit in the last 48 hours which is sad.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that was part of it – cross-thread drama is never a great move, but now is an especially bad time to play games like that.

See, the thing with yenta’ing is that it’s often awfully close to just making up stuff.

I don’t know how you guys figure ElGuapo got banned. He didn’t. I’m not aware of anything he’s ever done to even make you guys think he could get banned. Cory, I know you don’t like the way the forum is run, so maybe it’s time for you to bail again as another show of solidarity with the fallen, or whatever gesture you feel you need to make. Because your insistence on coy little banning announcements, especially when they go off half-cocked, is getting tedious.

And as for whatever’s going on in that Internet dating thread, I’ve never even been in that thing. I’m assuming it’s pretty icky in there.
