You’re thinking of someone else.

The fact that WarrenM feels that it is anything but FUCKOFF HILARIOUS that he’d post re: Matt G’s banning is…delicious.

For the record, we all love you both.

Also: It’s fantastic to come back to this thread after two weeks and like 15 pages. Because daaaaaaaaamn.

Just to be clear: no.

When you scamps get together, you’re worse than a sewing circle.

Who’s the bigger yenta, the yenta or the yenta who yentas about him?

Probably the yenta who yentas about the yentas yentaing the ye…

Ah, fuck it. I think all of us here in this thread are probably in the same boat.

Banned of Brothers.

Hahahaha!

Can someone rename this thread please? Thanks.

Banana’d of Brothers.

BANANANANANANANANANANANA’d BATMAN!

Banana’d of Brazil nuts

Yup. Glass houses, every one of us.

100 pages worth of glass housed yentacracy.

Good times.

So does the tempered glass go to the people who have better protection, or does it go to the people who have bigger tempers? Either way, I’m still not sure we should launch a chicken at it.

Dear Sir:

Chickens should always be launched. Leave the worrying about consequences to lesser men. Flying poultry is the stuff of legends, and you will never become a hero without a cracked beak or two.

Sincerely,
A Concerned Reader

This isn’t about a banning, but it is meta. Looks like the forum rules have been updated, and Qt3 is now a completely open forum. No vetting required, new accounts can post instantly.

The two clauses which were dropped from the rules:

  • You know how there’s a waiting period when you buy a handgun? Quarter to Three is a bit like that. You’ll have to register an account and then sit tight. If you’re in a hurry, feel free to contact my gmail address, which is tomwchick at gmail. Tell me a bit about yourself and I’ll switch your account on. Otherwise, it might take up to a month before you get stirred into general population.
  • Finally, although we welcome everyone, this is a forum composed largely of people in the industry: press, publishers, developers, and PR folks, many of whom openly identify themselves as such. Please handle any differences with a modicum of respect. This doesn’t mean you have to treat anyone with kid gloves, this doesn’t mean you can’t ask hard questions, and this doesn’t mean you have to defer to industry people in any way. But what it does mean is that I want to keep them around and I realize that even the thickest skin has its limits. Please try to stay within those limits.
