Someone needs to register “Creative Trolling” and then get themselves banned. Then there can be immense yentaing driven by people pointing out that the rules explicitly state that he is welcome. Done right, there could well be 1d6 thread lockings over the course of a couple months about it!

Could you use apostrophes, please, Drastic’s Mom? And capitalization where it’s appropriate? It’s jarring and it makes me think you’re not actually who you claim to be.

I always thought that the time difference between application and actual registration was rather beneficial, as it encouraged the prospective new members to lurk for a while before participating in the forum, and thus getting a better feeling for our community.

That is the effect it had on me. When posting was a privilege I had to ask for, it made me think twice about what I was going to post.
