I’m pretty sure that’s been done, either as a mod or an ill-conceived attempt to counterbalance violent games. Either way, it was stupid and horrible.

Perhaps Tom could instate a timed delay on all registrations? eg a month or at least 2 weeks? That might reduce the trolls and joke accounts a bit…

As iffy as it sounds, it’s a legitimate idiom. I thought you used it in the states - we use it superstitiously to sort of wish that something is going to happen: ‘I haven’t got the cold yet, touch wood’.

It’s generally followed by actually touching wood, or at least something that looks like wood.

It existed in the original QuakeWorld TF, IIRC. Very amusing the first time I saw it!
