Just to head off Cory’s obsessive need to play watchdog, what I said was there there were about ten accounts under his various IP addresses. Some of them were alts, such as Mike Gallant, MJG, The Punch Line, Emmanuel Goldstein, and Medusa’s Head in a Bag. I’m pretty sure the Angie Gallant account isn’t one of his alts. A few others I’m not sure about. Hence the “about ten” figure.

Tom, come on. Cory’s maybe a bit pissed about the gallant affair, and decided to defend him since he can’t defend himself and it’s been a bit of a pile on here, but from that to obsessing over anything is a bit harsh. Maybe go back, listen to the fallout 3 podcast again, and realize he’s actually not an asshole?

Abilio, Cory has a history of taking issue with the way I run the forum, which includes closing his own account to protest – well, I forget what exactly he was protesting. Someone’s account being closed, I think. But it obviously didn’t take, since he shortly asked me to reopen the account. Since then, he regularly piles on any time I have to deal with some sort of BS forum drama. Which is his prerogative, but it’s pretty obvious from where I’m sitting that he’s appointed himself as some sort of watchdog against the iron fisted policies I use to run Qt3. I can imagine him wearing one of those V for Vendetta masks.
And, yeah, I’m as surprised as anyone else considering the podcast he and I recorded.

Not really corrections at all. NOOU was indeed banned for “tapirs” twice, and he was banned again following the UC incident for reasons unexplained. His banning entry covers three separate bannings in the span of about two months. If we ever get a definitive explanation of the third ban, then he will get an additional mini-icon on his entry. I will however clarify the situation on the chart by splitting up the bans.
The chart does not indicate that any of those three members were unbanned, that’s not what the “unlocked” icon represents, but I can see how some people would read it that way. Another small change will be made to make that more clear.
That reminds me, I need a good V for Vendetta mask.
You should let Medusa’s Head in a Bag live on account of it being both an awesome response to The Kraken and a great forum handle in general!
