Until he starts acting like a good QT3 citizen again, then he’s going to get flak from people here. The alt thing and going after Brad elsewhere isn’t helping. Once he gets past this I think we’d all like to see him return.

Call what you will, but people are comparing him to Koontz and the like. Really, truly disturbed people. He got a bug up his but about Brad’s lies (I call 'em like I see them) and did it before everyone else did. And when he kept pushing it after being warned by the All Seeing Eye, he was banned. Plain and simple. He made his bed, he is lying it.

That doesn’t make him a bad person, a stalker, or anything else. It may make him a man with an axe to grind, but to go further than that is doing a disservice to him and to the truth of the matter.

Pretty sure the Koontz comparisons are a joke, but let’s not pretend that Matt wasn’t picking at Brad BEFORE the Elemental stuff went down. He most definitely was. It wasn’t just one little instant of blowing up. Lots of people have done that, and people let it slide after a bit. Still, count me amongst the hopeful that Matt returns to his previous ways.

Abilio, Cory has a history of taking issue with the way I run the forum, which includes closing his own account to protest – well, I forget what exactly he was protesting. Someone’s account being closed, I think. But it obviously didn’t take, since he shortly asked me to reopen the account. Since then, he regularly piles on any time I have to deal with some sort of BS forum drama. Which is his prerogative, but it’s pretty obvious from where I’m sitting that he’s appointed himself as some sort of watchdog against the iron fisted policies I use to run Qt3. I can imagine him wearing one of those V for Vendetta masks.

And, yeah, I’m as surprised as anyone else considering the podcast he and I recorded.

Second, Tom, I’m not your enemy. Stop treating me like one. Sure, there are some administrative decisions you’ve made that I don’t agree with, but in that regard I’m not any different than anyone else around here. You do a lot of good on Qt3, but you’ve also made some fucked up decisions. Hell, we’re all human. The past few months have really driven home the point though that the Qt3 community is important to me. It is more important than any differences of opinion you and I might have. You’ll do what you do, and I’m just along for the ride.

I really don’t appreciate how you’ve characterized me in your mind, and in this thread.
