You mean like for when people say things that are sarcastic or perhaps are exaggerating a stance to explain why people shouldn’t click on a thread that they don’t care about to argue about how they don’t care and how people shouldn’t not care? Cause that seems like a silly time to do it.

To further explain why it is silly just in case the sarcasm doesn’t land: I wasn’t coming down on any side in that post up there except the one that thinks people complaining that the nitpicking thread has nitpickers are stupid. Because that’s stupid.

I am offended by Tom’s moustache, and particularly the manner in which he twirls it after banning people. The moustache is inadequately waxed and the twirl is performed for only two full rotations rather than the regulation two and three-quarters.

I’m not saying Tom is perfect. I’m saying it doesn’t matter if he is or he isn’t. “It is what it is”, which is Tom’s board and he can run it how it he damn well pleases. If I don’t like it, which I don’t from time to time, I leave for awhile.

There’s a big difference between discussing a ban and repeatedly criticizing Tom.

Cory, I just think you like to manufacture friction where none should exist because of some of your disagreements with people on the board and through the timing and content of your posts. Mostly it has appeared so to me in THE thread and this thread. You will disagree, but that is how it comes across. I thought Tom’s post went along with the pattern I perceived in your posting as of late. Yeah, I have been passive aggressive in hinting at the issue. That’s my thing as a non-confrontational sissy boy.

Yep, I mostly agree with Tom and the way he runs the board in many cases. So, I tend to debate in defense of decisions made (more accurately his right to decide whatever he wants) in most situations rather than call him to task. There are plenty of folks to take care of the latter. He does not need my support, necessarily, as he is a big boy, but he is getting it if only as an offset to some of the yentaing the other way. If that makes me a lapdog, fucking or otherwise, then slap it under my handle. I know folks think something similar of me, but I am good with that, too.
