I tried to set a jokey tone, and that might have been a mistake, but I get to say what I think. I haven’t said much (if anything) about any of this nonsense except to Tom, but now I am feeling tired of all the constant whining from the moral majority here, who feel they can look into the hearts and souls of posters, and pile on and generally act like asses, all the while complaining about how terrible the community and the moderation is. That’s why I was semi-serious about this “Council of Yentas” thing. It’s obvious that when loads of people pile onto him he gets defensive and somewhat narky. And he’s often said that he’s much more amicable to PMs. So if a group of people agreed a same thing in this thread, one person presenting it to Tom as the voice of a group of people might actually see him respond in a positive manner.

I don’t mean about things in the past, but stuff happening now and in the future. Surely it’s better than having bitterness confined to here, and people ragequitting. Look at Bananas and Nuts as an opportunity.
