There’s no rule against that.

Don’t drag in your baggage from another thread. This can be a tough balancing act, because how we interact is often related to what we know about each other. But dragging down a discussion with an argument you’re hashing out elsewhere or that you had six months ago isn’t welcome. Learn to have a polite discussion with a guy whose guts you might hate. It’s a valuable skill that will serve you well in real life (see the previous rule).

Quoting people’s posts from other threads isn’t the same thing. If he’d had an argument with Demon over his love for Transformers that had messed up that thread, then yeah.
