I did it once, because there was some irony in it. And when I did do it, I pointed out it was a stupid and low thing to do. Any other time I’ve brought up gears was because I very specifically wanted to use it as an example. Also I can assure you, it wasn’t in reply to anything you said, as I’ve had you on ignore for quite some time.

Thank fucking god. I don’t know what is about this forum that makes people unable to detect trolls, but jesus christ - around post 3 in the election thread where they mentioned Hillary and her running against Obama in '12 I knew:

I could safely ignore all future posts from that user as it was an obvious troll
At least 10 posters would get in arguments with that poster and destroy that thread

Trolls are one thing, I personally have no problem with them as long as they’re clever, but posting a clear picture of a mountain of dead holocaust victims is just too much.

All I do is erase spam when I come across it. I do not moderate content or ban people. This is Tom’s house. Why do people persist in not understanding that?

I assure you that my moderation would be several orders of magnitude more lax than Tom’s. The vast majority of reported posts would be answered with “grow thicker skin, put the person on ignore, and stop bothering me”.

I would have banned for the holocaust pic, though. That animated GIF of a tranny exposing himself crossed the line too.
