Bitching at Tom over moderation - and doing it in a fairly hostile way (Abilio’s gotten like that in the last 6 months for whatever reason) is going to get you banned. It’s one of the accepted rules.

Hanzii’s ban doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, but neither does Tom’s wussy little fit over the gif he edited out.

I’ve learned over the last few weeks to just not disagree (or even engage) with Tom at all. You never know what will set him off, and he has the nasty habit of carrying grudges across threads.

Don’t you guys think Tom might be a little sensitive about his moderating lately?

I feel like he either gets kvetched at for making poor banning choices or banning too slowly. When he doesn’t get any positive feedback, it’s hard to maintain a consistent front of moderation.

All speculation, of course.

That’s weird. I’m not Demon’s biggest fan, but I think Anax went from zero to angry pretty quickly there. That said, it hardly seemed banworthy to me.

Then again, I got banned for calling Lorini dumb once. So maybe callin’ people dumb is the new tapir.

Do people complain about banning too slowly in any situation other than as a counterpoint to someone they like getting banned? Ie., Why is Poster A still here when Poster B isn’t half as bad?
