Meh. I was using the phrase as the accepted term for coming here to laugh at some poor schmuck that got banned, not as a cry against injustice. Sure, she’s not Lynch. Him I don’t even bother with, he’s just a retard.

And the pileon on her was kinda ugly, but not entirely unjustified.

Damn right it was justified, that’s why I got involved! That and the fact that Buceph is a poor newbie who needs handholding in QT3 shitfights for now ;)

I dunno man, you took aim at someone who made an offhand joke at you and that was it. “Series of posts”, remember? It’s probably worth just saying “Yeah OK I misread and thought xyz was jerri”.

We get way too much antagonistic bullshit in this thread and it’d be nice if people could - as you say - not just use it to shit-talk people who can’t respond.

I need to make a wallchart with names correlated to known behaviour type. Then I could earn my shitposting wings.

Eh, I can live with that. She came back when I posted my unbanning, but I was mostly conflating her with stusser and Tyler. Also, YOU’RE GODDAMNED RIGHT I ORDERED THE CODE RED. Anything else or is the cross examination over?

If so, here’s a kitty hug so you can be happy next time and kindly watch from the sidelines instead of ruining my fun with reasonableness.

I was holding out for some cool 40k artwork :(

FINE! there’s no pleasing some people.

(Ruined by the filename being “FlowerTyranids.jpg”. I mean really.)

hahahahaha

In the grim dark future of Pokemon there is only war.

Albinio,
You are my sweetheart day by day. And I hope that you’ll never go away
Just stay with me all my life. Until the death has been arrived

That would be never. She hasn’t lurked here for years, much less considered posting. You know full well you’re poking at me instead. How about letting it go, Cory? I’ve tried to let our past differences remain in the past without mentioning them gratuitously. You could do the same. Everyone already knows you don’t like me–you don’t need to remind anyone unless for some reason you’re spoiling for another fight.

Great, now the whiners whine about reactions to their whining.

Bob, everything I said in the post prior to yours applies just as well to you. How long can you carry a grudge? Just let it go.

This is like a bunch of bitter beatniks at a poetry slam trying to get the last word in and one-up each other. “All right, Stuart, this is a revenge poem in response to your accusatory poem of last week…”

Christ almighty damn, people. Take a step back. If the thing that is pissing you off most in life right now is some pixel-person posting on a video games message board and continuing a game of “but he/she said this first!” like a gaggle of recalcitrant paste-eating kindergarteners (or Belgians, for our EU comrades) - if that’s what you’ve got to occupy your time, then take a step back and re-evaluate your priorities.

Make a sandwich. Play some Farmville. Look at adorable pictures of corgis or something.

Yeah. About that.

It’s a shame your grade-school morality won’t allow you to take your own advice.

I’ve always found this sort of outburst to be misguided at best. Yes, it’s a video game message board … so what? The words are still coming from real people sitting behind real keyboards so what’s wrong with reacting to those words? Does the fact that it’s a video game message board somehow make the words they type not as powerful or something? I don’t get it.

Bob, examine our posting history. I never say anything to you at all unless you say something provocative to me first. Since the c-word flap, I’ve just ignored you (aside from the aforementioned exception). In other words, I’m trying to let things go. Same with Cory–after the Judge Floro fight, I say nothing to him unless he mentions me, like he just did in this thread.

So yeah, I take my own advice. I don’t initiate anything in hopes that you and Cory do the same and that the hostilities will end. However, when comments like the ones in this thread are made, I will continue to respond to them. Big difference.

Yes. Because when it comes down to it, we’re grown adults (and Demon G Sides) who are all about playing games that go bleep bloop bloop and hopefully having fun in the process. Unless you’re a reviewer, in which case “fun” is a nonquantifiable dirty word.

But I digress.

It’s the internet. Therefore you shouldn’t take ANY of it seriously. Why is it so important for people to get the last word? So you’ve got your jock in a twist because Poster A argued with Poster B and Poster C jumped in and then Poster D escalated things and - jesus, people, chill the fuck out.

If I post an opinion about something, and I get a response like “Mightynute, you are a fucking poo-poo head who smokes pole behind the bowling alley for laundry quarters” - my first response should be “Okay, what did I say that set this person off in such a manner?” instead of “Oh yeah? Fuck you too, pal!”.

My secondary response is likely to be “Ha ha, it’s not even laundry day!” but again, I digress.

If you’re not going to add something constructive to a conversation - especially when emotions are running high - take a second look and see if what you’re considering posting is worth the trouble, or if you’re just going to be kicking a hornets’ nest.

Seriously, dudes. Stop all the hating and get back to playing some goddamn video games.

(Disclaimer: any mocking of Demon G Sides is simply to poke fun at him being a young’un for humor value.)

It doesn’t always work that way, I’ve made several friends via these boards, and for some people they extend into a broader network (twitter, facebook, irc, wow, etc) so telling people to “just ignore it” isn’t always applicable.
