So you understand why old Qt3 was better? The one where you could call someone dumb, and no one would have a problem besides the person called dumb, who would either come back with “you’re dumber”, would flame out, or wouldn’t say anything.

Just to clarify what’s going on here:
Based on what folks were telling me – I still haven’t read this thread, and I don’t intend to – it was devolving into the sort of thing where an admin should step in. Which is what I was worried was going to happen. I’ve had separate people complain to me that it was getting “toxic”.
Furthermore, I’m not sure it was serving any purpose. The idea of a “DMZ” wasn’t that anyone can say anything to anyone. The idea was that it was a place for people to discuss bannings, which isn’t something you can do elsewhere on the forum. If people can’t do that without devolving into the very things that get people banned, then I have to wonder if there’s any point.
So for the time being, B&N is going to be shut down for a bit. It’s too bad that what began as a place for Albert Woo’s playful take on forum drama seems to have been abused by some of you. If, when it’s switched back on, I keep getting complaints, I’ll have to consider some other option.
