I got it through GOG and it still holds up pretty well when it’s not crashing, which unfortunately is every ten or fifteen minutes on my machine (and totally at random, while I’m just out running around). Some games were ahead of their time, but Outcast is like a weird gaming anomaly from another planet. Terrific sound design coupled with a compelling story set on what still feels a lot like a living, breathing extraterrestrial world.

If only I could get it to run on this modern rig. I’m guessing its a video problem related to running two monitors.

I’m going to use Gamestop mostly because I have PowerUp Rewards that I’ll get points for and they have some small pre-order bonus stuff. In any event, I’m looking for a code (if one exists) to save any money off the $60 pre-order price. Most of the codes I’ve found online searching are for used games or for free shipping (not applicable since I’ll be picking up from the local store).

Anyone know a current Gamestop code that can be used on a pre-order? Does such a thing exist? Thanks!

This probably won’t appeal to you, but Gamestop is giving a 30% bonus on trade-in values if the money you get back is applied towards a MW3 pre-order.

Thanks, that might actually be worth looking into as I have a game or two I can trade-in, and 30% value added might actually make the trade-in offer less insulting.

And Scharmers, it’s not that I expect to pay less than $60 so much as it is that I know Gamestop codes and offers float around all the time and I’d kick myself if I didn’t at least ask and then find out afterwards there was a $5 off code or a 10% off pre-order code or something I missed out on.
