Did you play the Sam & Max games from them? Mechanically, it’s very much like those but with Back to the Future nostalgia. All the episodes for $10? Totally worth it.

Personally, I found them too easy, a little buggy, and I don’t think the story really lived up to Back to the Future (even as much as would be expected of a game). Sam & Max and Monkey Island are way, way better.

I had no problems with the difficulty in back to the future, but I did hit a nearly game-breaking bug that for some reason was never patched. Had to google for a solution, which was (seriously) “sit in the room for up to an hour realtime until the event triggers”. Beyond that, great games.

This brings a big smile to my face, but of course I hope he’s still able to survive without Steam in this indie business environment. Maybe he should start a hardcore/grognard indie bundle.

Anyway, I’ll go buy Six Gun Saga now.

Armageddon Empires is my favourite, but it’s single player only. Solium Infernum is a great pbem game, but most people don’t seem to like the single player part (although I do, but not as much as AE).
