Lost Planet 2 for $10 for the 360 is pretty tempting.
I also saw that Dead Rising 2 is under 20 bucks (console versions and boxed PC version). Which is the better one?

You got me. I was ready to explode untill I got the joke in the second paragraph.
You’re still going to hell for typing that though.

Any must buys in the Steam Halloween sale? I can recommend the DeadSpace pack if you like those kinds of games.

Without going out of my way to compare a bunch of prices across various retail outlets, the must have games that stand out to me (based on what I’ve played) are as follows:
Amnesia (first person horror adventure game)
Prenumbra, if you liked Amnesia.
Plants vs Zombies: If you like TD games and have a sense of humor.
Space Pirates and Zombies
I just started playing Borderlands today, and so far I am really, really REALLY digging it. But I can’t recommend it till I put more time into it.

No, they have Vampire: Redemption. Totally different game.
Pretty sure that’s Redemption, not Bloodlines. Does GOG even carry the latter game?

Why hasn’t anyone mentioned Realms of the Haunting, in GoG’s sale?

2.99! Great price for an epic game! The FMV is actually good!
I remember ROTH having painful controls - is that right?
It’s nearly Halloween, and you can buy RotH from GoG and Amnesia from Steam for less than $10, total. That’s a really good deal for two of the best horror games of all time.
The not-God Bless America version does have awful controls. The America is #1 version has remap options. GoG, for whatever reason, has the Gremlin (not Red-Blooded American) version, BUT I think there’s stickies in GoG forums that address this.
But for $3 terrible controls and all…it’s ROTH.

Space Pirates and Zombies $11.24 @ Steam.
(I may have missed it - I know it was mentioned in passing with some other items, but I didn’t see anyone list it along with the sales price. I know others besides me were looking for it on sale, so here it is.)
After looking over upcoming releases it seems like Amazon’s not as big on handing out promotional dollars toward future purchases as they have been in the past few years. That said, Skyrim and SR3 both seem to have $10 toward a future purchase as a bonus for the standard versions. And it’s not just $10 toward a game, but toward anything.
Speaking of which, does anyone know how to see what promos you have unused on your account? I’m pretty sure I should have been given some money toward a future game purchase for buying Portal 2 earlier this year, but in trying to pre-order something else it isn’t showing up. The promo bucks don’t show up under gift card totals since they’re only for use on games, not for books or anything else Amazon sells.

I want to play Amnesia but I’m afraid I’m too much of a wuss to really enjoy it.

EA sent out emails today with mystery Origin discount codes, ranging anywhere from 10% to 40% off, with a few lucky people getting 100% off. I ended up with a 40% off one, but I am not in any position to make use of it at this time. So if someone would like it, I’ll give it to whoever responds first. I would just go on and post it, but I would rather a QT3er get it than a random passerby.
Coupon expires November 1st, and cannot be used on anything released within the last 30 days, so Battlefield 3 is out. I only tested a few products, but it seems to apply to all platforms, not just PC digital content.
So post if you want it and I’ll PM it over!
Btw, I’m not sure how many people know this but it’s quite easy to get 15/20% off coupons if not more by simply contacting Origin/EA and saying a game is too expensive.
