It is a flawed game. Sure, it sucked away many of my hours and there is an inherent joy I have in building a base, but the game could have been better. It feels grindy when it comes to bringing in money to build and expand the base. Traps aren’t effective as they should be. Interrogation serves a limited role. Keeping “heat” to a manageable level is tough. And there were times when I had no idea what I was supposed to do.

It plays on a similar theme to Dungeon Keeper but just not as good.

Bastion is my Game of the Year so far. It won’'t be to everyone’s taste, but for $7.50 you really should try it.

It is a fun game, but the traps you build to defend your base will kill more of your minions than they will kill of the enemy agents. I just made a lot of high-security doors instead.
