Anyone have experince with Play-SC.com? Are they legit?
They’re selling the Skyrim steam code for 48$ / 35€
Similarly theres Onlinekeystore, with the same prices…

I’m sure they’re as legit as other key buying places… Which is to say, kinda? I bought a couple keys years ago, as an experiment, and they worked fine for a while. One of them was shut down with no notice (when launching the game, a message appeared saying the key was invalid). As far as I know, the other one still works.
You can get Skyrim for $28.49 (GKNEW for 5% off) at gamerkeys.net, which is where I bought BF3 for $24. They seem legit and the guy who runs it is active on a forum concerning feedback/questions at bitcointalk.org.
Well, if he’s on bitcointalk then it must be legit.

The $7.50 price did it for me. I picked up Bastion yesterday and played a bit of it this morning. I’m feeling guilty I didn’t pay full price. Delightful game.
On a similar note to Nephrinn, I have a nasty stain in my bathtub, so I decided to ask 4chan for help. They told me to shut all the doors and windows in my house then mix ammonia and bleach in the tub, which is supposed to clean it right up. Seems like legit chemistry at work.
This one guy said he was an investment advisor, so I also gave him power of attorney, my gorgeous 14 year old cousin’s phone number and address, and my wifi password. I’m gonna be rich!
Hay guise, if y’all haven’t played the fun space game Star Wolves, GoG has it on sale for $4.
I might buy it again just to support 'em.
I was going to wait for Bastion until the Steam winter sale since I want to concentrate on possible GOTY-candidates instead of playing them six months later like I normally do. Then I remembered it’s probably just as good as some of the games I’ve been playing.
I really should wait though.

It’s supposed to be pretty short. If you start playing today you’ll be done well before Skyrim.
The Steam Daily Deal for November 2nd is Toki Tori for $1.70 (66% off). What is a Toki Tori? According to the strangely bland description, “The gameplay in Toki Tori is a blend of two genres. While it looks like a platform game, it’s a puzzle game at heart. To progress through the game, the player must pick up each egg in a level using a set number of tools.”

It’s a pretty fun mixture between Lemmings, The Incredible Machine, and a few platforming elements.
The Geneforge games just went up on Steam (Avadon must have done okay for him), and are 20% off for the next week ($16 for all five).
Doesn’t look like there’s any way to buy them individually, which stinks as I just want a few, but $16 for five Geneforge games is a tremendous bargain regardless.

I currently have a self-imposed moratorium (3 days in, woo) on buying more games till I work off my backlog a bit… but All the Geneforge games for $16? What is Jeff Vogel trying to do to me!
Also, does Toki Tori work with a gamepad? I just asking… for a friend.

Well, there goes another $16. The convenience of not needing to dig up the CD alone is going to be worth it, plus I don’t mind throwing Jeff a little extra money.

Thanks for the tip on the Geneforge games. I’ve been meaning to try them out for a long time, even though I didn’t particularly like the Avadon demo.
I would actually prefer to order it from the Spiderweb store, but it’s still $45 there. I guess Steam will be fine.
They’ve also got a great selection of bridges.
That gets me wondering. When you buy a key to a bridge from them, where do they tell you to enter it?

The latest Humble Bundle has recently added The Binding of Isaac and Blocks that Matter to its current bundle. I’ve been enjoying The Binding of Isaac, it has Zelda-like gameplay with randomly-generated dungeons, well worth the money IMHO.
