So, uh, I bought all the Geneforge games. Which one should I start with? 3? 4? 1?
Yes … or so a friend told me.

There aren’t loads of complaints on the net about them, which betokens cautious optimism. Buy one and tell us how it goes!
That gamerkeys one looks sketchy as hell though.

FIFA12 is 66% off in-Origin client at $16.
If it’s selling steamworks games, once you have it who cares if they “look” sketchy?
And use your credit card, you have excellent fraud protection that way…

Don’t be a moron.
Steam can blacklist your entire Steam account or just the grey market game.
Since you have all of them, I’d start with 1. A lot of people will tell you to start with a later entry, since there are ongoing design and UI improvements as the series progresses, and though the world develops over the five games, each one’s actual plot proper is standalone. I think this is exactly why it’s best to start with #1 - it would be much more difficult to go back to its relatively primitive UI and game design after playing a late entry in the series.
Which is illegal in the EU. Don’t be an American, you mean.
Over at slickdeals, its mentioned that Uncharted 3 is now added to the B2G1 deal at Amazon.
I grabbed: Uncharted 3, ICO/Shadow of the Colossus and Red Dead Redemption GOTY for $95 before my many credits were applied.

This is the 3rd time I am buying RDR, lol.

Steam has in the past de-authorized game keys from outside the user’s territory.
They are perfectly within their rights to blacklist the key and remove it from your list of available games if the key was gained through disreputable means. And since most of those keysites use Russian or Chinese keys… Not hard to prove you didn’t buy 'um yourself :)
But yea, they can’t remove access to your entire account for it (at least as far as I’m aware).

Acquired by disreputable means yes
acquired by parallel importing from a different region where the game is quite legally sold for a lesser price, no.
I knew that was the case for other EU countries but didn’t think it applied to Russia. Not exactly my area of expertise though admittedly.

It probably doesn’t apply to Russia

Just a reminder that Target’s B2G1 sale is on all platforms - I lucked out at my target last night snagging Uncharted 3, Dark Souls for the 360, and Battlefield 3 for the PC.
It’s a good thing we needed more baby food at home, so I had to stop by the Target…
Steam daily deal for 4th nov is conflict : denied ops at 75% off $7.49
Sanctum is also at 50% off and is free for play till sunday on steam
The country written in my passport?
The country where I mainly live?
The countries where I sometimes travel to?
The country that my current IP is associated in some geodatabases?
The country my credit card is registered to?
This makes me afraid:(
