Amazon is matching K-mart’s current promotion of buy one game get the second half off. It applies to Skyrim, Rage, MW3, Uncharted 3, and Batman Arkham City for sure. There may be others as this is a somewhat stealthy promotion, and may possibly include AC Revelations and Saints Row 3 once those are officially released tomorrow. Just make sure you add both to your shopping cart and that the seller of each game is Amazon. I believe all platforms for these games work except for MW3 PC. I just got Skyrim PC and Uncharted 3 for $88.49 shipped (I have prime).

My buddy and I play din’s +exp together a few times a week. Even after owning plenty of recent big budget games. I think that says it all. I have a lvl 58 character.

The only issue I have with it is there’s a bug where sometimes quests break like items not appearing or a boss not spawning. So you have to exit the town and re-enter the game again and it’s usually fixed. Other than that Love the game.

Steam Daily deal for November 14th is Alpha Protocol for $6.80 (66% off).

links?

I’m not sure if I can post them yet, but just go to slickdealsDOTnet and it should be the second posted thread on the front page.

I tried to get Skyrim PC and another, and it wouldn’t work.

Some people have said if it is a game you already ordered previously from Amazon, it would not work. Also, just to be thorough, did you make sure the sellers of each game you added was specifically Amazon.com, and not someone fulfilled by Amazon or another seller all together?

Yes, and I hadn’t purchased either game. Tried it with both Skyrim and Arkham City as well as Skyrim and Saints Row 3.

EDIT: I also just tried it with Skyrim PC and Uncharted 3 just to see. It isn’t working for me (both from Amazon).

I just tested your first pair and it works. You must go all the way to the checkout screen (prior to submitting the order) to see the discount reflected. The second pairing will not work because Saints Row 3 is not eligible yet, but it may be tomorrow.

Amazon sale worked great for me. You have to go all the way to the final order review, just before you place your order.

Unfortunately the only game I want of those is Arkham City, so I’m going to cross my fingers hardcore and hope the sale still works tomorrow when Assassin’s Creed is released.

Yes, I did just get it to work with Skyrim PC and Arkham City XBox.

Now I just have to decide whether to keep the order (which I don’t think you all can help me with).

I’m tempted by this big time. OTOH, Black Friday is coming up, and I feel like Amazon might have deals on these games. OTOOH, I really want Arkham and Skyrim (and Saints Row and AC).

I bought Skyrim from GMG, it’s around half the steam price. Works absolutely fine. And no, it wasn’t available on GMG for preorder - I was teetering on the edge of dropping the $USD90 on Steam…

One thing to be careful about the Amazon sale is that the deal will only work with games fulfilled by Amazon.com - not the other merchandisers that also share the webpage with Amazon.

Depths of Peril > Din’s

(troll face)

No need to feel like a troll about that. Nboth games are good enough that my opinion goes back and forth on the subject every time I play one or the other.

I actually do favor DoP because of the faction mechanic and the sense of competition against other adventurers.

See, I feel about the same for those mechanics, but din’s is such a streamlined experience, and I love the mix & match hybrid class system. Almost apples & oranges.

greenmangaming has the STEAM game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light for $ 3.69

The current Impulse offer on EU Chronicles works out cheaper than buying the Divine Wind and Heir to the Throne expansions, so it might be of interest to anyone who already owns EU Complete or an earlier version.
