Wow, Greenmangaming just refuses to work for me no matter what I try - even working with their support team doesn’t seem to help.
Did anyone have success with the Amazon deal today? I tried it this morning and it seems to be gone.
What was the deal?
Its showing a Werner MT-22 Telescoping Ladder , lol.

Hmm. Does the ladder have online DRM?

Nah, but you have to put up with South Koreans always being on the top rung.

Just bought Avadon: The Black Fortress for $4.98 at Gamers Gate.
Does the GamersGate version of Avadon activate on Steam so I can get the achievements?
Also, according to the Digital Distribution Dealsblog, Avadon is apparently scheduled going to go on sale for 75% off ($2.50) at Direct2Drive in two days:

For those who can’t afford the shiny new Skyrim, Steam’s Midweek Madness deal is Oblivion for $4.99 (75% off). This is the Game of the Year Edition.
The Daily Deal for November 15th is Alien Zombie Megadeath for $2.50 (50% off).

Cool, I’ve been meaning to get the steam version of Oblivion. Is the extra content of the deluxe version worthwhile or horse-armour type stuff?
Fighter’s Stronghold Expansion, Spell Tome Treasures, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor and much more.
The later Oblivion DLC was fantastic – I definitely recommend getting the deluxe version.
It’s kind of redundant in that it gives you multiple places to make your home (though each one is geared towards different character types), but it is nice to have at least one of these more advanced homes besides just a house in town, since they usually include more storage space, some special NPCs or enchanting/spellmaking/alchemy altars, etc.

I really wanted Oblivion on steam. However now that I have skyrim, I do not think I can go back to Oblivion.

And while you’re getting it, don’t forget about Nehrim. I only played the first hour or so, but already it was head and shoulders above the original game content.

Still looks great if you mod the heck out of it. Definitely worth the $5 as I’ve been playing a lot of it recently.
For $5, Oblivion GotY is a definite thumbs up. Yes, Skyrim is the here and now, but if you didn’t play it before Oblivion is totally worth $5 and a few hours of time later.

Hmmm, I could not get your link to work:

I am going to have to give this one last try with Nehrim. I got the GoTY edition in the Sumner Sale, I think it was and have had a couple of false starts…maybe it was the last holiday sale.

I don’t know if they have updated it but Nehrim was bringing my PC to it’s knees, this is the same PC that is currently running Skyrim on high without any slowdowns at all. I had a blast while it lasted, but the extremely low FPS killed any enjoyment I had once I got outside.

I know Arham and AC at least will be having black friday sales for $30ish

Shit. I bought Oblivion yesterday at Best Buy for $19.99. GOTY version.
GMG flushed themselves down the toilet in the last couple weeks. Between this whole fiasco with arkham city and saints row and then the paypal issues, I don’t think they’re going to survive much longer.
I dunno about all that, but I’ve played it safe by only buying games from them I can register on Steam.
