Blizzard has Starcraft 2 for $29.99 until 11/28/2011
Tomorrow (Wednesday).
Thursday is Thanksgiving right?
If they start tomorrow they would do the exact same thing like last year.

Cave Story+ just launched at 15% off - so $8.49. Looks like it was completely redone?
I’ve never played the original; does it still hold up?
Just to clarify: “…the base game of Panzer Corps is available for 50% off the original price for the first two weeks of the sale. After two weeks Panzer Corps will jump to a still-fantastic 25% and the heavy discount will last until the end of the Christmas season…”
So if you are planning on buying it, don’t procrastinate until you lose half the savings.
(And if you were a fan of the original Panzer General and/or if you liked PG Forever, you owe it to yourself to buy Panzer Corps.)

Started Wednesday last year. I’m afraid.
Humble Introversion bundle now on with 4 games , darwinia , uplink , defcon and multiwinia. If you pay more than the average you get aquaria and crayon physics deluxe free. 2 other windows only prototype are included (subversion city generator and voxel tech demo) The minimum price is now $3.83. All games activates on steam
Are you trying to infer that due to the daily and weekly sales there won’t be a holiday sale? If so, you should have a comma and not a period there. Unless you really are afraid, of course. :)
In all seriousness, we had the same fear over the summer that they wouldn’t do a summer sale, but they totally still did (though it was a bit lack luster, mostly due to me already having all the games I really wanted). So, I am fairly certain the holiday sale will still go forward, after all, they probably make a LOAD of sales doing it.
I imagine, given the jokes every year about people’s aching wallets, that he’s afraid of the damage that will soon be done to his bank account by a sweet, Steam-ing pile of hot deals.

XBLA is having a “Fan appreciation sale” through Monday.
I picked up Stacking for 600 spacebucks. They’ve got a number of Pinball FX2 tables on sale for those who are into that.
Complete listing here.
Ha! Yeah, that makes more sense. I thought he meant “Started Wednesday last year, I’m afraid” so I was poking fun. Either way, I’m actually all set - I saved up lots of cash just for the sale this year, so I should be set for almost anything that strikes my fancy.

Steam “Autumn Sale” is up!
Looks like some of the pricing hasn’t been changed yet.

I noticed that Morrowind GotY has been dropped to 10 bucks for the sale (from 20). With some graphics update mods, might be worth it.

I dunno if these are hiding or what, but quite a few things on my wishlist - not necessarily on front page - are 50% off as well.
All on Steam.

Just added
Orcs Must Die DLC packs
Runespell
Delve Deeper and DLC
all 75% off on steam. Not a bad $5 spent to occupy some random blah time in the future. Let the cheap purchases you may never actually play season commence!!

Wait, how does that work? I have been looking in Rift’s direction for awhile, and a free period sounds good, but I would have to buy a subscription to play the “free” game?
Yes, you need to pay the monthly fee. They are giving away the client. Normally it’s $15 and I think even at that price it doesn’t include any game time.
I suppose you could download the free trial and play the game for free for 10 days, but I don’t know if you could convert your trial character to a different account. Not sure how that would work – you might have to go ahead and download the free client to make sure you get that for free, but you may have to download the trial client too if you want to play the 10 days for free. Or maybe it’s just as simple as downloading the complete game and then applying a trial license? Dunno.

Yes. Normally the game costs money but they typically give you 30 free days. This way, the game is free, but you need to pay to start playing.
