Yeah, Witcher 2 doesn’t show up on the master listof registerable games.
Terraria is 75% off today.

That’s a good freaking deal.
$7.50 for a four pack! Is there an elegant way to do four packs, or is it just a lot of people promising to pay one another via paypal or something?

It’s that (in my experience).
Also, Brink free weekend + game for $5.
AND a new daily wishlist drawing. Visit the daily deal game page every day for a chance to win the top ten games in your wishlist.

How conveniently timed this is.
With the recently added trading feature, you could negotiate a trade for some other game or TF2 hat or something, and it’s all handled within the Steam client. It would be nice if they just let you put $X in someone else’s Steam Wallet in exchange for your key from the pack, though.
^ what Fugitive said. I did one earlier in Spiral Knights - we all Steam traded the host the equivalent in “Crystal Energy”, which is the game’s spacebucks you buy in the store, and received a gift we could send to ourselves. I don’t think it supports many games yet or the Steam Wallet.
I’d be up for a 4 pack of Terraria if someone was willing to host it.
Both Brink (with DLC included) for $5 and Terraria for $2.5 are great offers. Get them people.
I disagree on Brink even at $5 if you’re actually looking for an engaging, well-made, multiplayer team shooter. If you just want to kill brain-dead bots with peashooter guns, then by all means go for it. There is some joy to be had in that, but it wasn’t worth it for me.

Terraria was great, you should get it. Brink has a free weekend so I’m going to download and give it a try. I hope its gotten better since release. I rented the Xbox version months ago and it was really laggy. The bots were terrible too.
Brink was good, engaging and well-made, using Telefrog words, as the bots. That said, i suppose the multiplayer scene is dead already.
King’s Bounty Platinum (Includes King’s Bounty, King’s Bounty: Armored Princess, and King’s Bounty Crossworlds) is the daily deal over at GamersGate. 75% off = $8.74
EDIT: Hmmm it looks like GamersGate are also doing a buy 3 get the 4th free promo. If you buy 4 games at once, you get the cheapest one free.
For those who missed the Steam Thanksgiving Sale my email from Gamestop/Impulse informs me that Divinity II Dragon Knight Saga will be 75% off on Impulse on Saturday. That’s $9.99, and a great deal.
On the other hand, if you’re a Gamestop hater or just prefer all your games in one place, chances are Steam will repeat the $10 deal in three weeks when the Holiday Sale begins.
I actually really want to play. Do you still have the unlocking process and all that if you just play with bots? Are the bots decent at all? Like Unreal Tournament decent? Also, how come it still says 5 bucks next to the download button, if it’s free for the weekend?

“Free weekend” games are simply added to your Steam library, with a notice of how much longer they are available.
Just a reminder that GamersGate is doing their winter sale, and each day until Christmas there’s one EA game with a large discount. Today’s is SimCity 4 at 50% off (£4.98). Who knows if there will be more recent games included…
Don’t know if it’s different for our US folks, they insist on showing me prices in pounds. Probably $5.
It seems to be a Euro-specific thing, as I can’t seem to find an equivalent on the .com site, where that SimCity 4 is still $20.
Oh, I see. You might be right, since normally GG does show me dollar prices and I can browse their .com version, but if I hover over the “Today’s EA special” button it directs to the .co.uk one. Does the link not work for you?
I also notice I can’t see any EA games on the .com site, probably due to region locking.
