X Superbox for $10 on Gamersgate today. That makes the upcoming X3 expansion free, if I remember correctly.

You do. Otherwise, the expansion by itself will cost $10. Take that as you will and plan accordingly if you’re interested.
The expansion will cost $/€10 only if you already have X3: Terran Conflict. If you don’t have it then you’ll also have to buy Terran Conflict!
This is definitely a good deal if you are interested in the X games or the upcoming expansion.

My assumption is that if you’re buying an expansion you’ll already have the base game. Otherwise you’d have no reason to get the expansion in the first place.
Found @ slickdeals…
Amazon has crazy deals on some games that will register on STEAM. All come with a $5 future game credit (on 2011 hits, or so it says).

Target has Skyrim for $50 on all platforms this week if ten bucks was holding anyone back. How much lower will this get on the Steam holiday sale?

Did they ever fix the PC controls in Dungeon Seige 3? I remember them being really bad in the demo. I might snag it for $5 if they did.

The Dungeon Siege 3 controls are pretty much the same as release. If you couldn’t stand them, I’d avoid.
For everyone else, $5 is a fantastic deal on this great game.
In for DS3 most def.
Is Arcania any good if you pretend it’s not supposed to be a Gothic sequel?
I wonder if that $5 credit per game stacks? If so you could conceivably pay $12 for say Dungeon Defenders, Dungeon Siege 3 and Arcania, then use the $15 to treat yourself to a free copy of Shogun 2 (currently $14.95) or a $12 copy of Witcher 2 (currently $27). That’s a hell of a deal. *

- assuming Amazon doesn’t jack the prices on the “Best of 2011” back up to full retail during January.
Steam Daily Deal for December 11th is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for $14.99 (50% off). The two DLCs are also 50% off.
No. One coupon per game max.
And I’m sure they’ll crank the prices back to normal.
Thanks for the Amazon heads-up! I’m all over Dungeon Siege 3 for that price.
I’d kind of like to get Dungeon Siege 3 for that price too. Just curious, is it fairly demanding on hardware? The specs call for a 2.5Ghz dual core and I’ve got a 2.4Ghz duo. Will this thing chug into unplayability for me?
CPU bottleneck is by far the worst kind of bottleneck. So, probably.
Yeah, I figured. Was trying to talk myself into it for that price but I guess I’ll pass.
No seriously, every review I see just cries about how it’s not Gothic 4 and doesn’t really go into detail as to whether it’s a good game or not.

It’s not that great. It’s a lightweight action RPG with pretty-ok technology and weak quests/writing.

I was planning on getting the bolded games there, but on 360. Especially Borderlands GOTY. Was Deus Ex supposed to be better on PC than on 360? I loved the Dungeon Siege 3 demo on the 360, but the 360 version is on sale for $20, and the PC version is only $5. Damn it.

Fair enough, but this is the first time an expansion to an X game actually requires the base game. Or, in this case, requires the stand alone expansion to the base game.
