Wait, what? It snows in summer in Tasmania?!

Cradle Mountain could very well snow during Summer.

Ah ok then …

There may be a pricing mistake (in your favor!) on GamersGate for Pride of Nations.

It shows the base price as $5 instead of $20 and then applies the -70% discount from that for a net price of $1.70

Also remember they are still running their “buy 3 get the 4th free” deal. So if you find yourself with 3 items, you may as well pick up a 4th for free (the freebie is whatever your cheapest item is).

Thanks for the heads up, I’ve email them to let them know their mistake.

If you ask me (and I’m a fan of most other AGEOD games), that game isn’t even worth $1.70. It’s an unplayable mess.

A little late, but thumbs up on this one, and Hardwar in particular. DotEmu is like GoG’s slower sibling but there’s a couple of games on there that GoG hasn’t gotten around to getting (Hardwar, Eurofighter Typhoon, and Fleet Command, all without DRM, are the ones I picked up some time ago).

I’ve never heard of Pride of Nations but it sounds like the kind of game that would be a Nazi sympathizer.

Gamersgate has Montjoie! at 66% off (it’s 5 quid, not sure of the price in euros and dollars). Fun turn-based strategy board game. www.gamersgate.com/DD-MONTJOIE/montjoie

You FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!

Strange because I saw it earlier today for $4.99. I’d like to get it for a $1.70 but to be honest that would be a waste of $1.70 because of the horribly long load times.

I see that Precursors has finally dropped to $7.50 on Gamersgate. I might check it out for that price.

GamersGate hasThe Saboteur for $9 right now.

It was glossed over at release, but I found it to be a very fun open-world game set in a comic-book version of World War 2 northern France. It has the best-feeling shooting of any GTA-like I’ve played, and a Hitman-like disguise mechanic where you can wear Nazi uniforms to infiltrate installations and blow them up. There are some porting issues (not that great performance, and ATI cards I think don’t work, and the map can be wonky), and the graphics at a distance aren’t great, but the black and white to color style gives it a great look, and I find it a nice change of pace to play in a historical setting. I’m actually replaying it now, and having a blast. Check it out!

Hmm I think I’ve heard of this game before but I didn’t realize it was a GTA-type of open world game. I’d really like to try it but for some reason it doesn’t show up for me on Gamersgate. Region restrictions? I’m living in Japan. If anybody would like to do me a favor and gift it to me I could pay you via Paypal.
