Does anyone know if the ATI issues were ever solved for The Saboteur?

It was fine on my 4850. No issues at all.

Let me check this 6850; oddly I’ve had issues crop up where there were none before :/

Edit: yeah, it’s fine. Not much improvement that I can tell over the 4850, but then it’s hard to say - haven’t played it for a while.

The Impulse Christmas sale store page shows me a blank white page.

Yay, back to Steam.

My fault, I was dreaming of a White Christmas.

Well, crud, was going to pick up Amnesia, but it won’t work on the integrated graphics of my MacBook Air.

AGREED. I was looking forward to this and was burned…badly burned.

Amazon has the download version of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine for $19.99 today. It’s a Steamworks game.

They’ve also got deals on other THQ downloadable games, such as Red Faction Armageddon for $11.99 and Homefront for $11.99, and those are also Steamworks.

Amazon has Dark Souls on sale + free shipping with Prime for $38 (360) or $40 (PS3).

Why are PS3 users constantly shit on for discounts?

Argh! What are the odds that this will show on Steam for cheaper?

If you’re into RPGs the Dungeons and Dragons master collection is $9.98 at Gamersgate.

It includes

Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 + Expansions

Icewind Dale 1 & 2 + Expansions

Planescape: Torment

The Temple of Elemental Evil

This is a lot of gaming for 10 bucks, and it’s cheaper than picking up the individual games elsewhere. DRM free.

For today, it’s also on sale for $2.50 over at Steam.

That is an insane price for that package.

Humble Bundle just added five games + soundtracks, bringing the total to TWELVE games. It’s a ridiculous bargain even if you pay somewhere towards the high end.

The new arrivals are VVVVV, Crayon Physics, And Yet It Moves, Cogs and the intriguingly named Hammerfight.

Xbox Live year-end sale started today. Each day there is a daily discount, and looks like there’s a bunch of discounts throughout the life of the sale.

For the XBLA discounted games, I’m very tempted by 50% off of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Plants vs Zombies and Renegade Ops (already? It just came out a few weeks ago). Bringing them from $15 to $7.50 each.

And today’s daily deal is 50% off Bastion.

I’ve been listening to the old Qt3 games podcasts, and I’ve recently been listening to Tom championing Renegade Ops. I didn’t fall in love with it in the demo, but he made a compelling case for it a detailed description of how the player learns to drive better after getting used to the driving physics and how that really changes the game.

I’ll have to try the demo for Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet now, since I’ve had it on my hard drive since the Summer of Arcade, but I was too busy playing Bastion to try it.

And Plants vs Zombies, some of you have been trying to convince me to get for a while now, and I think this sale is just the push I need.

Perhaps these have been posted here before, but Gamer’s Gate has some great sales prices on old games. Here are a few:

Master of Orion is $0.74,
Jagged Alliance is $1,
MOO2 is $1,
X-COM Complete Pack is $1.27,
Majesty Gold $1.68,
Majesty 2 is $1.68,
Elven Legacy $1.70.

Any idea if Elven Legacy will activate on Steam?

Just picked up PvZ from XBLA thanks ot the sale, eats up almost all the spare points I had sitting around doing nothing, yay. Got it for the co-op.

Nope.

Thanks.

That list is shorter than I imagined. I’ve had good luck.
